FOLLOWING IN THE TRACES OF MR.RAVENÉDuring the guided tour you will be shown all five rooms of the private apartment of Louis Ravené, who rebuilt the castle, as well as the bathroom and the library. These rooms are situated in the upper part of the castle residence on the second floor. Even though the furniture no longer originates from the estate of the Ravené family, you can still feel the flair of the 19th century and the spirit of the man who had the castle built up again. Part of the original artefacts, however, are the outstanding wood carvings on the doors, the tiled stoves, the mural paintings in the window recesses, the floor boarding and the ceilings decorated with ornate poker work.
